Known as "Frank's little party in the desert," the Frank Sinatra Starkey Hearing Foundation Celebrity Invitational has become one of the marquee events held in Indio, a premier destination in the Palm Springs desert. The Frank Sinatra Starkey Hearing Foundation Celebrity Invitational enjoys a rich history. Each year, celebrities, contestants, participants and spectators from all over the country look forward to returning to this unique event.

Barbara and Frank Sinatra founded the Frank Sinatra Starkey Hearing Foundation Celebrity Invitational in 1988 to raise funds for the Barbara Sinatra Children's Center at Eisenhower which opened in 1986. Through their efforts, and those of supporters throughout the world, the Frank Sinatra Starkey Hearing Foundation Celebrity Invitational is now one of the most successful events of its kind. All monies raised through this effort directly benefit the Barbara Sinatra Children's Center.

The nonprofit Barbara Sinatra Children's Center (BSCC) is dedicated to ensuring every child's right to a normal, healthy and secure childhood. The organization provides individual, group and family therapy and special programs that address issues associated with children suffering the affects of child abuse and neglect, and who are at risk to be abused. An effective voice for children, highly respected with international name recognition, the out-patient Center stands as a symbol of Barbara and Frank Sinatra's unwavering commitment to children in peril.
