Self-Esteem Program for Teen Girls
The Barbara Sinatra Children's Center at Eisenhower's goal is to provide a peer-supported process to normalize challenges faced by teen clients, complement individual and group counseling sessions and provide an opportunity to build positive self-esteem and confidence for female clients aged 11 to 18 in a therapeutic environment.
Schedule
- 3:00 to 4:00pm
- All sessions are on Tuesdays
- Sessions meet at the Children's Center in the Frank Sinatra Auditorium
- Sessions are held mid-January through mid-April
- Self-Esteem "Graduation" Tea Party is held the last Tuesday of the session
Program
- Weekly group counseling followed by eight weekly self-esteem sessions, culminating in a final presentation, attended by family members, staff, Barbara Sinatra and Board Members.
- Two clinicians, a team of professionals and volunteers conduct the program.

- Self-Esteem: Mid-March through the final "graduation" presentation mid- April
